Hello to all travelers visiting Taiwan!
I’m Oracle.
This is the first post of the Taipei Food Guide.
Today, I want to introduce my favorite restaurant, MoonMoonFood (雙月).
This restaurant has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for several years.
My company is located right next to the Jinan branch of this restaurant, so I visit about twice a week.
First, let me show you the restaurant’s atmosphere and menu.

Chinese characters displayed at the entrance.
The character “雙” means “two,” and “月” means “moon.”
That’s why the restaurant is named MoonMoon Food.

The menu is only available in Chinese, but there is a kiosk that provides options in multiple languages, including English, Japanese, and Korean.
Today, I ordered the restaurant’s signature main dish.

This dish consists of steamed anchovies on top of rice, garnished with garlic flakes and green onions, and drizzled with soy sauce.

This is a chicken garlic soup made with chicken thigh meat. It’s absolutely delicious!

A plate of blanched oysters and pork. Both are served with soy sauce.
In addition to these dishes, the restaurant is also known for its signature noodle dish.
Its name is 愛恨椒芝麵, which translates to “Love and Resentment Pepper Sesame Noodles.”

The noodles have a captivating combination of the spiciness of pepper and the nuttiness of sesame.
You can also purchase an instant version of these noodles to enjoy at home.
